Good news first: there's no rust. Our stainless steel is naturally rust and corrosion-resistant, and the laser engraving is permanent. What you're maintaining is the finish — and that takes about thirty seconds.
Tag care
- Polish with the included cloth to lift fingerprints and bring back the shine.
- For the engraving grooves: rinse, add a drop of mild soap, work a soft toothbrush over them, then dry immediately.
- Do this after salty or sweaty sessions so nothing sits in the grooves.
Protecting your finish
- Store spare sets in the keepsake tin or drawer box between wears.
- Avoid harsh abrasives and polishes — they're not needed and can dull the finish.
- Everyday knocks are fine; these are built to outlast the shoes.
